Hi! And welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Marianne, and I am a Copenhagen, Denmark based illustrator.

I started my illustrator business in March 2018. I have a background as a pension advisor, but after 10 years I decided to quit and instead go for a career in the illustrating business, which was the dream job since I was very young.

I was lucky in the beginning to get a space at the studio Pinligt Selskab. In my meeting with experienced freelancers I have been able to share experiences and get inspired by my really talented collegues, and also I have people to share the celebrations with! Daily I spend my working hours at Pinligt, based in the heart of Nørrebro.  

Today I am a published illustrator working with different tasks such as books, calendars, article illustrations and also illustrations used for tuition materials in for instance the entrepreneur business.

My passion in drawing is in creating all sorts of living creatures with a cute and humorous twist and hopefully to make people laugh. But I also find great satisfaction in cooperations where I can help others in visualizing their message.
